VINTAGE QUILTE PILLOW

Hello All, I have been very busy helping my sons work on their 1945 home pulling off the old wood siding and replacing it with new. Today was a rest day and I sure needed it as I have missed working on my creation. Managed to make a pillow from a old vintage cutter quilt piece I have had for quite sometime now and could not decide what to use it for.

Don't know about you, but it seem to me that sometime ideas just don't work out the way we see them in our minds eye. What I wanted to do to the embroidery center piece of this pillow was far different then I had imagined the project to be. I was going to make it a pin keeper but it just didn't seem to want to be that, and needless to say here is the cute pillow.

The center piece is embroideryed using a back stitch, and black embroidery floss. I used fabric paint to add color to this design. I got the idea of painting the inside of the stitcery from Debbie of
WOOLEN SAILS

Just a heads up I add a new section of design to my web site under patterns, you can use them for embroidery red work, outline work, punch needle, rug hooking and so much more.
JUST A LITTLE PRIMITIVIE

I Love To Punch is one of my new designs.
Enjoy.
Love, Live and Laugh.
