Country Home

Country Home
Punch Needle Embroidery
This piece was quite the challenge, leaning experience and when finished it was very rewarding. I used Sweet Cream crochet thread, an Oxford punch needle number 14 fine and dyed several of the colors, cotton monks cloth 18” by 32”, and also added 4 addition inches all the way around the design. This piece was one of those that you want to toss but that little voice inside you just keep going until it is finished.
I would like to try other designs as after I got the hang of using the heaver thread it went rather fast. I am giving this piece as an auction to raise funds for a special project. I think this piece would make a wonderful wall hanging over a kitchen doorway or
even a scarf for a country hutch.

Time to get back to several other Punch Needle project I having going.
Really kind of funny as I promised myself no more UFO’s right? Well I am once again
deep in unfinished project that is UFO’s.

I sincerely apologies for not posting sooner between moving, family matters and trying to get this piece finished for the blog was a bit more then I should have taken on at this time.

Fun new piece. I haven't punched in months, too hard on my hands these days, but might try some pieces for christmas, then I can take my time and have them done in time.
