Dream A Little Dream Pillow



Hi Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Over the weekend I crocheted a Dream Pillow.  Ah got your attention now and your most likely wondering what the heck is a Dream Pillow.  A Dream Pillow is a small pillow made from most any kind of fiber or fabric.  A opening is  made in the little pillow so a small pouch of aroma therapy herbs  specifically mixed to create a pleasant dream.  The pillow is small enough that you can tuck it under you bed pillow or simply lay it beside your pillow when your ready to go to sleep.

 There are many mixtures to create different types of dreams and you can find them by doing a web search using keywords ie aroma dream therapy herbs.  These are the keywords I used to locate and purchase the herbs I used for this project.. 

When I was in Oregon and learned how to spin and weave, one of the many wonderful things I learned was the many uses of wool, cotton and plant life, how to weave the fabric using natural fiber to create a dream pillow.  Being many do not own a weaving loom I decided to crochet and sew one of each.
This amazing world of ours is full of wonderful blessing from the Lord. I hope you will find time to enjoy making an aroma therapy Dream Pillow.  The twp I made one by hand crocheting using 100 percent cotton yarn by Peaches and Cream and Sugar and Cream. The second one is made of 100 percent cotton fabric. Pattern will soon be available under crochet and stitchery.
