Punh Needl Rug Hooking

Punch Needle Rug Hoeing
An Apple A Day

This sweet little children’s Punch Needle Rug creation came from a drawing by my son Kenneth quite sometime ago.  When sorting through old papers I came across his drawing and decided to make it into a child rug.  It measure about 17 inches by 22 inches, drawn onto 100 percent cotton monks cloth, wool and acrylic blend yarn by Lyons brand. A number 10 Oxford punch needle was used to create the loops.  While this is a simple design it has been a delightful project.

I have been working on a few new patterns and hopefully they should be ready for your enjoyment.  Don’t forget to watch for other creative idea’s I trying to post once a week to keep the blog interesting and pleasing for those of you who enjoy visiting it.  You will see other types of needlework project as the year progress, I hope you find something to make for a loved one or for yourself.

Have a wonderful week and may the wind always be at your back.

Hugs, LenZie

Wonderful piece and fun to use children's drawings for rugs. I did a punch horse with yarn, still need to do something with it.
