Crow's N Moon

This last week took a little brake from crocheting to update my blog and came across a photo of a project I designed.  After completing it tucked it away with plans to use it but then decided to send it to a friend to sell for me.  Named it The Crow;s N Moon.  The moon is made from all cotton muslin and tea dyed, the two crows are made from black all cotton fabric and lightly painted with black watered down acrylic paint,  add a little tiny bruising of white paint, when it was almost dry did a little sanding.  mounted it on old fence wood as shown in the photo.  However if I were to make this project again I would use all cotton muslin for the entire project, paint the crows and then grungy up the who project.

Hope everyone had a delightful Mothers Day, my sons gave be huge pot of flowers amd I was blessed with a visit from my grand daughter who lives in Seattle, Washington, and my other Grand Daughter who live not far from me she brought over a beautiful card with a hand print of my GGS.  The next day she brought over flowers and makings for root beer floats.  It was a lot of fun and must admit it has been a very long time that we have had a root beer party.  How cool is that for a Mothers Day celebration?  Put happy smile across my heart forever.
