PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN

Well here we are strolling on in to share what kids love and enjoy bears. this happy bear wall hanging/punch needle rug style is a delightfull, fun project to make, it is simple and flows with easy. Our very Proud bear was created using cotton monks cloth for the backing, wool rug weight yarn and no pattern was used it was drawn free hand onto the monks cloth. The Monks cloth measures about 22 inches by 26 inches. A two inch pocket was created at the top so a rod could be inserted to hang this project. the over all finished size of this piece measures about 18 inches by 22 inches.

Are you wondering how the heck we came up with the name of this wall hanging? it was really quite simple as this happy little bear seemed to be expressing I am proud and being he is holding an American Flag this is how and why the title is Proud To Be An American. Perhaps we should have add the word bear but one can see he is a very PROUD BEAR.
