Punch Needle and Hand Dyed Cotton Chenille Yarns

Hand dyed Cotton Chenille
Over the years I have been experimenting with different types of yarns and other fiber products.  Here are the latest results of dyeing off - white cotton chenille yarn.  I am most happy with the latest outcome of the dyeing process and how beautifully it took the dye and punched needled.
Used one of my original bear patterns ( once again) and transferred it onto 100 percent cotton monks cloth.  I think the photo's below will show what a awesome child's rug it made. This rug measure about 27 inches by 40 inches. I have also made some smaller rugs as well and all are wonderfully soft, as well as thick and fluffy.  I might add washed up beautifully.
Enjoy and until then
Have a Magic Day.

Punch Needle, free patter for you to enjoy.  This pattern was designed from a fun day watching that darn crow go after the tom cat in our backyard.  It was funny to watch them as they seemed to be taunting each other and as you know both are very mysterious critters. I find a lot of enjoyment setting or working in the backyard garden.  A neighbor moved away and left an adult tom cat behind.  He became so skinny, ragged and frighten for being left to fetch for himself.  My son was able to become friends with him and this old tom cat has brought a lot of entertainment
and love to our family, as he is really quite the character.  He has brought many days of enjoyment to us and I have found myself sketching pictures of some the crays things he and that crow have done.
Have fun and enjoy this free patter design.  THAT DARN CROW FREE PATTERN
Happy Fall to all of you.
