Crocheted Heart for Valentine Day

Where the heck has the time gone to?  can not believe that the month is half gone seems like we just finished with Christmas and put away all the decorations.  So here we are and time to think about hearts. Took out the old crochet hook and warmed it up with a new twist on a Crocheted Heart.  Not the best but it is pink and in the shape of heart.
This little treasure is two and a half inches tall, and made from size 10 crochet thread.  There is no pattern at this time, as I made it from, scratch.
I will be taking my notes and rewrite them into instruction for others to enjoy.
How about a valentine poem ok, ok so I will not bore you, well for now I will refrain from entertain you all with a poem.  Stay tuned for the big one.
Hugs and Happy Valentin's creating.

CROCHET HEART MUG RUG

HAPPY VALENTINE DAY
Crochet Heart Bottle Cap Mug Rug
Hello Again:
How much fun to recycle something that
is often tossed away? I would love to take credit for this creative idea, but I am not to originator of using recycled bottle caps. As a small child and during wwll my Mother and Grandmother were really wonderful at recycling many items that today we take for garnet and toss them out. I can remember my Mother setting and crocheting over bottle caps to create hot place mats to protect the oak wood table from hot food dishes. For quite sometime now I have thought and thought about doing the same and I have developing many other wonderful crocheted bottle cap project an in the works writing an e-book on use bottle caps and other items. As my logo saying goes “Making old thing new, bright and beautiful" Lenzie

Enjoy and I will return with more creative ideas using bottle caps.

Have a magical day. LenZie
